Could a Huge Asteroid Hit Earth?

Episode Summary

Space is fascinating, terrifying, and we’re going to be entering an era of space warfare against asteroids. Are you ready?

Episode Notes

In a gap between Mars and Jupiter lies the asteroid belt, which is where the asteroids that come and practically play dodge ball against Earth come from. Surprisingly though, the belt isn’t densely populated like many believe, but that doesn't mean Earth is safe.
